NetEase Games is a leading gaming company that started its way back in 1997. Its core business is developing games for PC and mobile platforms. Furthermore, NetEase has a huge market share in website development, email services and content creation.

Since its inception, the company has developed a number of well-known games, including the MMORPG Westward Journey, the mobile RPG Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, Overwatch, Minecraft, and many other well-known titles. Today, this Chinese company is one of the seven largest game developers in the world! 

Every year the company holds an event called NetEase Connect to showcase upcoming releases, updates and their innovative developments. The highly anticipated event took place on May 20 and featured trailers of 15 games in English and 12 in Japanese. In this article, we’ll take a look at the most significant new products that the company is preparing to present to players before the end of 2022!

Dead by Daylight Mobile

This is the mobile version of the asymmetric horror action game that has found a great response from the PC audience. The game has been released for multiplayer (4 vs. 1). The game did not deviate from the canon, and left the usual scenario in which one ruthless killer hunts down four survivors. The team of survivors must start the engine and open the gate to escape in order to win.

LifeAfter (Mobile)

A mobile survival simulator called Life After is a 3D action game. In it, the player is immersed in a zombie apocalypse as one of the few survivors. In addition to routinely seeking shelter, building walls to protect themselves and attempting to communicate with other survivors, the player will have to battle evil zombie monsters.

Character customization is very detailed, you can choose not just the gender of the hero, but also details like the face oval, hairstyle and more.

It is undoubtedly a great survival game that includes great graphics and many online options (connecting with other players, making alliances).

Badlanders (new game mechanic)

The Badlanders loot shooter has often been compared in mechanics to its well-known counterpart Escape from Tarkov for Android and iOS. Perhaps this was the motivation behind the adjustments made to the game’s existing mechanics.

The world of Badlanders embodies the ruins of a formerly technologically advanced civilization. Due to a natural disaster, a huge portion of humanity has died, and those who have remained wandering the world. As true stalkers, they are looking for weapons, equipment and ammunition. Each player must complete certain tasks on the map, collect as much valuable loot and get out of the zone alive. This is a feature of the new mechanic: now players do not need to fight to the end. It’s enough to collect loot on the map and leave the match.

Naraka: Bladepoint

The battle royale game will now be available on mobile. The presentation of the mobile version of the game revealed that the version has been developed entirely from scratch. The user interface will not overlap with the PC interface and is as optimized as possible for easy use on mobile gadgets. In addition, the developers promise the same high quality gameplay and graphics as on PC.

The game will still be available for up to 60 characters at a time. The download of Naraka: Bladepoint will be available for free on AppStore and Google Play around the world.

Tank Company

Wargaming should really step up their game, as it looks like they have a tough new competitor. Tank Company is an exciting mobile action game with large-scale tank battles.

The story requires the player to lead a crew to challenge worthy and strong opponents. Quality physics in the game in addition to detailed three-dimensional graphics will catch the attention of players. The in-game experience is completed by a user-friendly interface.

NetEase has prepared several enormous maps (100 hectares each) and numerous tank models of the last century for users. Each of them are prescribed unique characteristics that are important in the selection: mass, power, armor thickness, and more. The game allows for large-scale 15 on 15 battles!

Finally

It is difficult to say whether these games are the headliners among those represented at the event. As there were indeed quite a few worthwhile releases on offer. NetEasy Games has prepared many other surprises for users for 2022:

• Harry Potter: Magic Awakened new collectible card game based on the Harry Potter universe to be released on mobile and PC
• Mission Zero announcement about the rivalry between invader and hunter teams
• Midsummer update for Vikingard, which will expand the storyline and add content to the game
• Survival shooter Lost Light promises a beta test in the third quarter of 2022
• Cooperative zombie shooter ZOZ: Final Hour makes its debut demo
