Dark Crystal Games studio released a new trailer for the post-apocalyptic role-playing game Encased. In the video, the developers gave an overview tour of the Dome and talked about the emergence of the Cronus Corporation, a special community in which scientists and the military conducted experiments with biomaterial.
Encased is inspired by Fallout and the novel “Picnic by the Side of the Road” by the Strugatsky brothers. Its action will unfold in an alternate universe of the 70’s, when a huge area of the planet was covered by the mysterious Dome. Users will have to play as an employee of a scientific corporation Cronus and conduct their own investigation to learn the secret of the forefathers and other secrets of the veil.
At the start of the game will offer 150 locations, 6 factions, more than 300 NPCs and 75 random events. The content will take players about 30 hours to complete.
Encased is currently available on Steam Early Access. The game’s official release on PC will be in September, and the console version for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will be released by the end of 2021.
